Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Change Management Consultant to support organizational readiness, communication planning, training coordination, and successful user adoption across business and technology initiatives. This role is responsible for helping teams and stakeholders prepare for change, transition effectively during rollouts, and adopt new systems, processes, and ways of working with confidence.

The ideal candidate has experience in change management, transformation, HR, or consulting and is comfortable working across stakeholders, project teams, and business functions to reduce disruption and improve implementation success. This person should be able to assess readiness, identify resistance points, support communication and adoption planning, and help organizations navigate change in a structured and practical way.

This is a remote USA-based role, suited for someone with strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills who can support change across system implementations, process improvements, and broader transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

Change Readiness & Stakeholder Impact Assessment

  • Identify affected user groups, operational changes, business risks, and adoption challenges across departments
  • Conduct readiness assessments, stakeholder analyses, impact reviews, and change risk evaluations
  • Help project and business teams understand how change will affect people, workflows, responsibilities, and daily operations
  • Recommend practical readiness actions to support smoother transition and stronger business alignment

Communication & Adoption Planning

  • Develop clear and structured messaging for different stakeholder groups during rollout and transition periods
  • Support communication materials such as change updates, rollout announcements, FAQs, key messages, leadership briefings, and user guidance
  • Ensure communication plans are aligned with implementation timelines, business priorities, and audience needs
  • Help reinforce adoption through targeted messaging, practical support resources, and ongoing engagement

Rollout & Transition Support

  • Support system rollouts, process changes, and implementation transitions by helping teams prepare for go-live and post-launch adoption
  • Work closely with project managers, business analysts, trainers, and functional leads to coordinate change support activities
  • Assist with rollout planning, transition checkpoints, readiness reviews, and stakeholder support during implementation phases
  • Help maintain continuity during periods of operational change by ensuring users receive timely guidance and support
  • Contribute to stabilization efforts after go-live by addressing confusion points, adoption barriers, and support needs

Resistance Management & Mitigation

  • Identify resistance points, engagement gaps, and adoption risks that may affect successful implementation
  • Work with stakeholders and managers to understand concerns, address hesitation, and build confidence around change
  • Recommend mitigation actions to reduce disruption and improve stakeholder buy-in
  • Support escalation and issue handling where change resistance could impact business readiness or project outcomes
  • Help create practical approaches to reinforce new behaviors, expectations, and ways of working

Training Coordination & User Enablement Support

  • Support training planning and user enablement activities in partnership with training leads, system owners, and project teams
  • Help align training efforts with stakeholder needs, role-based impacts, and rollout schedules
  • Contribute to user readiness by supporting workshops, orientation sessions, training communications, and adoption materials
  • Ensure end users have access to the right information, support tools, and guidance needed during transition
  • Work with enablement teams to improve learning support and reinforce adoption after launch

Change Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain change plans, stakeholder logs, impact assessments, readiness trackers, and adoption support materials
  • Support governance routines related to change progress, stakeholder engagement, communications, and readiness reporting
  • Monitor adoption signals, stakeholder feedback, and post-rollout challenges to identify where additional support is needed
  • Help refine change approaches based on implementation feedback, business outcomes, and user experience
